Grant Application Guidelines

Throughout our Company’s history, we have considered the interests of P&G to be inseparable from the needs of the communities in which we operate.

We demonstrate this commitment through investments in nonprofits (charitable organizations, NGOs and IGOs) in our P&G communities around the world.

To that end, P&G focuses its social responsibility efforts where we can uniquely add value so we can generate the most positive impact. Specifically, we will provide everyday basics that help create the experience of home and improve everyday health and confidence for people in need around the world. This focus enables us to take advantage of our strengths and help take aim at the United Nations Millennium Development Goals focused on housing and sanitation as well as child and maternal health.

Each grant request is carefully evaluated to determine alignment with

  • Helping create the experience of home through the benefits of P&G can provide those who lack adequate shelter or may be impacted by disasters
  • Improving everyday health and confidence…the confidence that comes from having access to preventive health and personal care products that P&G uniquely provides

There may be other needs and concerns in P&G communities where we operate around the world; however, our primary focus is creating the experience of home and improving everyday health and confidence. Because our resources are limited, P&G cannot fund every worthy endeavor; and our grant competition is extremely competitive.*

* The P&G Fund of The Greater Cincinnati Foundation cannot make grants to (a) individuals, (b) endowments or programs promoting a particular religion, (c) political, legislative or fraternal organizations, (d) athletic, social or veterans organizations or (e) any organizations that do not have tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, as amended. Certain supporting organizations established under Section 509(a)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, as amended, may also not be eligible to receive grants from the P&G Fund of The Greater Cincinnati Foundation.

P&G will comply with the laws and regulations governing corporate contributions in the country in which the contribution originates (these laws may vary from country to country).

Application cycles
Grant Application Cycles are July 1 through September 30 and December 1 through February 28. We only accept grant requests during those times. Dates are subject to change.
